A Moment with Me

A treasured Uncle once asked me, “How you going, Annie?” I replied, “I’m getting there, Uncle G.”

“Annie… he said, “I’ve got a secret for you… you will never ‘get there’.  Life – and the living of it – is not a destination.  It’s a journey over hilltops and through valleys… all of which are significant.”

In testament to this truth, I have created Momentus to ensure that the moments (high or low) in life’s journey – like finding our life partner, recognising enduring love, bringing a new bub into the world, and celebrating the life of a loved one just passed, are celebrated in a way that is beautiful, fun, warm and stress-free for everyone involved.

And while – at 37, I am quite young for a Celebrant… it’s been a big life.

A demanding professional career in Publicity, Overseas Relations, Special Event Management and Customer Service; travelling the world; marrying “Davey”; and surviving the trials and relishing the tribulations that went with it all… have taught me a tonne.

But the biggest thing I have learnt is that just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.  The only thing you should do… is what makes you happy; and being a Celebrant fits me like a glove.
